HealthSouth Toms Rivers to Host Event During Brain injury Awareness Month
As a leader in brain injury rehabilitation, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Toms River will join the Brain Injury Association of America and its partners this month in recognizing Brain Injury Awareness Month by hosting a community wellness fair at the hospital located at 14 Hospital Drive in Toms River.
Community members are invited to visit HealthSouth Toms River on Tuesday, March 29 from 4- 6 p.m. for free wellness screenings including fall risk, memory, balance, driving, blood pressure and hearing. Refreshments will be served and the event is at no cost to attendees.
“National Brain Injury Awareness Month is a perfect time to educate the community on risks that could lead to a fall or accident resulting in brain injury,” said Patty Ostaszewski, CEO of HealthSouth Toms River. “We encourage everyone to come out and participate in our wellness fair. Brain injuries can happen to anyone at any time, and HealthSouth Toms River is here to help if it happens to you or someone you love.”
