David Eller

Pulmonary Program Co-Champion

David Eller has been employed at HealthSouth for seven years. Beginning his career at HealthSouth as a per diem employee at our Vineland, New Jersey location, he is now the full time respiratory/radiology manager at HealthSouth Toms River. In December of 2014 David took on the role of co-champion of our Pulmonary Program. He has enjoyed applying his skills at this level and has been successful at creating a well-rounded respiratory team. 

Jessica Finnegan

Jessica Finnegan, PT, MPT, NCS

Stroke Program Champion

Jessica joined the HealthSouth Toms River team in 2009 and has been a senior physical therapist since 2011. She is a board-certified specialist in neurologic physical therapy and takes great pride in helping patients with stroke and other neurologic disorders return to their household and community roles. Jessica also serves as the physical therapy department’s center coordinator of clinical education and enjoys clinical teaching and mentorship. She holds a master’s degree in physical therapy from Quinnipiac University

Brain Injury Program Co-Champion

Jess began her career at HealthSouth in 2013 after obtaining her clinical doctorate at Drexel University in Philadelphia. In June 2014, Jess became the physical therapy representative of the Brain Injury Program and took on the role of co-champion in February 2015.

Patricia Henk

Patricia Henk

Advanced Inpatient Diabetes Program Co-Champion

Patricia Henk is a senior occupational therapist who has been with HealthSouth Toms River since 2006. She graduated from Stockton University in 2009 with a Master’s of Science degree in occupational therapy. Patti has been a co-champion of the Diabetes Program since 2012 and helped the hospital achieve the distinction of Advanced Certification for Inpatient Diabetes in 2014 from the Joint Commission. Her interest is in education, and she has developed a diabetes education group for our patients to attend.

Kristen Ientile McQueen

Stroke Program Co-Champion

Kristen has been a speech pathologist with HealthSouth Toms River since 2007. She received her bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders from The University of Connecticut and her master's degree from Montclair State University. Kristen has been an active member of the Stroke Program since 2008.   

Linda Murphy

Linda Murphy, RN, CRRN, BA

Advanced Inpatient Diabetes Program Champion

Linda has worked as a nurse at HealthSouth for 30 years. She graduated from Presbyterian School of Nursing in Philadelphia in 1969. Linda then got a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Georgian Court College. Linda is currently the program champion for the Advanced Inpatient Diabetes Program. Linda is also the point of care coordinator, who educates the staff for usage and maintenance of our glucometers.

Neelam Patel

Neelam Patel, PT, DPT

Cardiac Program Champion

Neelam attended University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and graduated with her doctorate in physical therapy in 2013. Neelam started working with HealthSouth Toms River in November of 2013. Neelam has been a team member of the Cardiac Recovery Program since she started with HealthSouth in 2013, and became co-program champion in January of 2015.

Program Champion of Brain Injury

Kristen has been a speech pathologist with HealthSouth Toms River since 2007. She received her master’s degree from The College of New Jersey. Kristen is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist.
Toni Tomaini

Toni Tomaini, BSRT, MHA

Pulmonary Program Champion

Toni joined HealthSouth in 2008 and became the Pulmonary Program champion in August of 2014. Toni has been a respiratory therapist for over 25 years. She received her bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University and her master’s in healthcare administration from Seton Hall University. Toni is dedicated to her patients and works diligently to promote and grow the Pulmonary Program at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Toms River.
